Book Review

Very seldom do I come across a story that breaks my heart on the very first page. I literally could not put this heartrending book down until I read the words The End. I just want to warn you to keep a box (or two) of tissue handy, because you're going to need it!

Dex Christian is literally at the end of his rope. One night of sheer terror has thrown his entire life on a downhill slide. He's lost his job, can't eat or sleep, and the constant nightmares have left him barely holding on to what's left of his sanity. Tired of fighting, he decides to end his life rather than suffer one more moment of pain. What Dex didn't count on was the fact he has friends who love him, and refuse to let him sself-destruct without a fight.

Bryan Stewart has made it his mission to help Dex recover from the emotional and mental trauma of that night. Something about the battered young man brings out Bryan's protective instincts, and he makes a vow to help Dex overcome his demons, guide him through his nightmares, and support Dex until he's strong enough to stand on his own, and learn there's still love and a better life after the darkness.

If you love reading a heartbreaking, yet ultimately hopeful story of one man helping another to heal, and to overcome the nightmare his life has become, then you will definitely want to buy this book for yourself.
