Book Blurb

Sterling going into heat was not part of the plan, me marking and mating him even less so.
The whole day I've been able to resist him until we both can’t fight our needs for each other and the pressure of Sterling's heat anymore.
I'm supposed to make his life easier, not harder.

Being stuck in bed most of the day doesn't help the thoughts running through my head. Especially not after seeing a mating mark on Wilder's shoulder.
This man is here to help me, but all I want is to find out about his past, even though he's trying to help me face mine.
But the clock is ticking... Wilder's only here for one week...

Book Review

I have quickly returned to the omegaverse world Rosa Swann has created as I am super curious about how Wilder and Sterling are getting along. In the first installment, Sterling went into heat, Wilder responded the way only an alpha mate would, and both men were mated to Logan, although Sterling doesn't know that part. It's all up in the air as to what is going to happen.

Sterling sees Wilder's mating mark, and besides the fact that alphas rarely, if ever, get marked, and then the mark doesn't last (usually) on an alpha, it's one more question to confuse Sterling. It's not as if these two men don't have enough confusion going on right now. I’m not sure I agree with Wilder's decision to not tell Sterling who Logan was to him, mainly because I know it has to come out at some point.

At this point I can't decide whether I like Logan or not. I'm pretty sure he didn't deserve these two remarkable men, and it's them that I feel sorry for. Sterling for losing his mate so young, and as an omega, he does better knowing someone strong is going to be there to help him. Or Wilder, who also lost his mate, who he never stopped loving, but he can't share his own grief with Sterling. Oh, and yeah, Sterling is still in heat.

I still don't have my resolution and part of me thinks the author should have put these three smaller stories together into one, but it's understandable why she didn't. I continue to have some editing issues although this installment was definitely better. I am definitely enjoying Sterling, Wilder, and Maddy, and I'm going to jump into the final story soon.
