Book Blurb

On the run from human hunters, Kit and his small group of shifters have resorted to anything to survive. So they have become a band of thieves…or rather, make that a band of wannabe thieves. So when Bowie, a feline shifter, discovers them and offers to take them back to his Coalition, Kit agrees although he is weary.

Bowie can’t help but feel bad for Kit. Not only is he scared and hungry, but once he reaches the Coalition, Kit finds out he has a brother he never knew about. Not only that, there is something about Kit that calls to Bowie. Something that makes him want to protect the Lost Shifter and hold him tight in his arms.

Will Bowie and Kit find their happily-ever-after? Or are they destined for happily never after?

Book Review

It continually boggles my mind that I somehow managed to overlook a few of the last ‘Lost Shifters’ stories when they were originally published. I’m so happy to have the chance to rectify that problem and return to Flint, Michigan, the Coalition, and all my favorite characters!

Kit and his friends all share the same thing: they are all adopted, they all shifted never knowing they could, they all got thrown out of their homes for being shifters by their adopted human parents, and they all met while living on the streets and homeless. They’ve been living off the grid and trying to stay away from other shifters and humans, and trying to keep themselves fed. When Bowie stumbles upon them, Kit is almost at the end of his rope – he’s tired, hungry, dirty, and just wants life to go back to the way it used to be.

Bowie takes them to the Coalition and they’re shocked to discover that something like this exists, they might have real family out there, and they finally have a home. None of them are particularly thrilled at the idea of being taught how to shift because all they remember is the horrific pain of their first time. Bowie is drawn to Kit right from the start and he doesn’t wait long before letting Kit know his intentions. It doesn’t take these two all that long before they both realize they’ve found their mate.

A wonderful addition to the series! I truly enjoy these books with all of its diverse characters and I’m so glad that I’ve gotten this chance to read new-to-me stories.
