BOOK REVIEW:
Accomplished author and editor Catherine Lundoff delivers sixteen stories of lesbian erotic encounters, both initial meetings with their race-to-slake-lust pace and established relationships. The stories in this volume range from the seriously paranormal to the actively alien, providing something for almost every genre predilection.

Most are first person, which this reviewer finds a little disconcerting. My two favorites in this collection, however, are told in third person and the third in the very difficult to use second person (quite successfully, I might add).

“An Incident in Whitechapel” brings an entirely new spin to the Jack the Ripper historical saga by positing a woman ~ herself a former victim of sexism ~ masquerading as a man while maintaining a solid and scorchingly hot erotic partnership. “The Goddess Within” posits a glorious return to the pagan earth religions of antiquity when Woman was valued and matriarchies ruled. “She Who Waits” is told in second person and is, with “An Incident in Whitechapel”, one of the two hottest stories in a book suffused with steamy erotic meaning.

For a short story collection one must rate the selection as an entirety, but were I to rate these three stories on their own, each would receive 5 plus stars. I've not been able to forget the characters nor contents of any of these three vital narratives.
