BOOK BLURB:
Cyrus has had a bad breakup, one that even a werewolf finds a little challenging. He's on the run and unconscious when Wiley gets to him, but something about him still makes Wiley want to help him out, so they end up on the lam together. Warlock and ex-lover Marcus had to make Cyrus leave him, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn't take Cyrus back in a heartbeat once he cleans up his own mess. Will Cyrus find out why Marcus broke up with him so violently, and will Marcus have to take Wiley as part of the package to get Cyrus to even think about coming back?

BOOK REVIEW:
Cyrus Delton knows he's having a really bad, no good, messed up day because not only has he been shot twice, but his dratted newly-ex lover, who just happens to be a warlock and necromancer, has sent a large dragon raptor after him. Shooting its head off ought solve that little problem, but of course it falls right on top of him and knocks him out. Some days just really suck.

Wiley Farraday isn't doing too well, either, since magick shit is blindsiding him. First a dragon raptor shows up, and then this guy shoots the raptor before Wiley can send it back where it came from, meaning he's busted and has to leave ASAP before he can even retrieve his laundry out of the dryer. Wiley scoops up the unconscious Cyrus, disappears the raptor and takes off in Cyrus's SUV, only to discover that not only is he a werewolf, bad enough, but worst of all he is Marcus Despain's very newly ex-lover. Marcus is known for being a psycho about his lovers ~ he once put some guy's head on the post of a fence outside his mansion because he'd felt up his man. Wiley doesn't want anything to do with any lover ~ current or ex ~ of Marcus Despain.

From this inauspicious beginning, we are drawn into the 'otherworld' of Texas and Louisiana, as Cyrus bribes Wiley into helping him make his escape from Marcus, who has an annoying tendency to eat his ex-lovers, and in more of a not-a-scrap-left way than a sexual way. However, as soon as Cyrus gets over being angry and heals from his bullet wounds and being squashed by a dead dragon raptor, he realizes something is off. Could Marcus have kicked him to the curb to keep him safe? No self-respecting werewolf is going to have anything to do with that! So Cyrus coerces a not-too-unwilling Wiley into taking off to find out what's going on with Marcus, partly because Wiley's got useful powers and partly because Wiley has a delicious ass.

Julia Talbot's Changes in Attitude is a rollicking journey to rescue Marcus, who doesn't want or need to be rescued, and who is actually a little more attached to Cyrus than he'd like to admit. The characters are cleverly and colorfully drawn and the story moves quickly and convincingly. If you like tongue-in-cheek humor ("he's a necromancer, not a necrophiliac!") mixed in with your hunky supernatural men, then this is definitely your book.
