BOOK BLURB:
Vampires meet magic and the erotic sensuality of chocolate becomes a symbol for Lesbian lust as reclusive vampire librarian Merideth learns to break out of her shell and act on her truest desires.
BOOK REVIEW:
Merideth is the outwardly staid librarian of a vampire-law-abiding clan, whose sole indulgence is sneaking Godiva chocolates in the confines of the library. When her magister insists she take a brief vacation on a fabulous tropical resort island, she is stunned, but not nearly as much as at the masquerade ball she attends while there. Face to face with a Goddess who offers Merideth her fondest wish, she plunges headlong into a scorching affair with a woman she's often admired, leader of the New Orleans clan. Soon they are facing the revelation of a group hunting vampires to the death and must make life-changing decisions.
Blood and Mint Chocolates is a highly erotic novella appealing to readers' sensuality both through its lesbian overtones and Merideth's pulsing addiction to Godiva chocolates. There is a minor amount of bisexuality but the main tone of the story is lesbian, featuring three very sexy women (two of whom are vampires) and a hot Goddess whose credo is "Do as you wish." Well worth the reading, Blood and Mint Chocolates will have its readers reaching for a partner to assuage the inspiration.
