Cody was luckier than most children who lose their parents. His Uncle Beaumont stepped up to the plate, took him in, and raised Cody as his own son. Cody has always been grateful and, even now that he is of age, he still defers to his uncle on important things even though he would like to make his own decisions. Beaumont owns a gay bar, The Cashbah, but he has ensured that Cody will never be allowed inside.

Unbeknownst to his uncle, Cody has loved Beaumont’s best friend and the man who runs the bar, Dante Santiago, from the time he realized that he was interested in guys. When Cody goes to visit his uncle, he runs into his uncle’s assistant who drops a coveted invitation to The Cashbah’s Halloween party, known for its extravagance and ‘anything you could ever want’ atmosphere. Cody decides that will be the night to make his play for Dante to finally learn what sex is all about.

As the night arrives, Cody dresses in ‘come and get me’ shorts with a mask to hide his identity. As Cody views the scene, he spies the man of his dreams dressed all in black and looking good enough to eat. To Cody’s surprise, Dante is looking at him with a very arousing expression. Will Cody’s night be everything he could ever want?

Ms. Young has created a Halloween story that has heart and enough heat to please anyone. Cody is a young man on a mission and he will go to great lengths to get his man. Dante hoped that Halloween would be a night to remember, but he never envisioned what would transpire from that one night. The erotic scenes between Dante and Cody were both flirtatious and very hot. The visual descriptions and glances that Dante and Cody gave each other brought the scenes to life for the reader. I loved how the scenes at The Cashbah brought a whole new meaning to Halloween! Thanks go to Ms. Young for a great read.
