Summer Fever includes interactions between characters which are quite funny and charming. JD is a lovely man, in a bit of a struggle, and Russ is the strong sweet officer who helps JD out of a bind. Wild flowers, a six pack and a little summer fever can do wonders for Catt Ford's leading men. Looking for some peace, JD returns to the family lake home where he meets Russ.

This story has a good vibe of small town magic and summer charm. With a mousy, sassy, hot scientist and a small town rugged, handsome cop the sparks just fly here! And in Fords words, “they lived happily ever after.” Not only a lovely summer fling, but even more. Catt Ford brings a funny, lovely and heart throbbing story.
