BOOK REVIEW:
Sexual adventurer and NYPD detective Clint Folsom is carrying on after the murder of his former partner/lover, which he investigated and revenged in the first of the series. A former Mafia hit man, sent to the Virginia Hunt country by the Witness Protection Program, has been sexually brutalized and murdered via the same techniques he himself utilized. Suspects include a sexy blond male student at a private athletic school, whom the victim was accused of molesting. The boy's father ~ the Commonwealth Attorney ~ and the local Chief of Police (Clint's former law enforcement mentor-lover) have their own secrets to conceal, and Clint immediately finds himself the ever-willing target of the sexual predations of a hunky Black NFL celebrity. Clint's personal history, both consensual and involuntary, lends him insight not available to other investigators, and soon he uncovers the true nature of the "crime" and identifies the culprit ~ placing his own life in danger.
