BOOK BLURB:
Your favorite suburban Chicago soap opera is back, with more smut, sass and shamlessness than you'll be able to resist.

BOOK REVIEW:
The saga continues in the little-known suburb of Chicago, Winnetka, where the families Davenport, Haze, Mahoney and Sweeney commit a veritable smorgasbord of sins in Deeper Dish, Marc Harshbarger's delectable sequel to his earlier story, Deep Dish.

Chandler Haze, son of Charlotte and Charlie, was last seen at the beach, having escaped from the hospital in an amnesiac state, back to where he had been blindly attacked after a night of profound ecstasy with his boyfriend, Matt Mahoney. Meanwhile, Matt's sister, Tess, freshly out of prison, is desperate to rekindle her romance with the newlywed Helen, who somehow ends up lip-locked with her own mother-in-law Charlotte, unbeknownst to her wheelchair-bound husband, Howard, Chandler's brother.

Howard's brother, Trevor, embarks on a steamy affair with his mother's best friend, Abra Davenport, whose daughter, Delia, is pregnant out of wedlock and the leading suspect in Chandler's attack. Delia's father, Del, has grown fond of a young aspiring actor, Hank Honeywell, while his twin stepsons, Cary and Grant, try to maintain a relationship with their father, Simon Bliss, who is afraid to tell his wife, Tina, the real reason he's not ready to start a family. All the while, drag queen Miss Astoria Queens, formerly known as Ned Stuart, who now goes by Drew Devereaux, can't decide who to love and who to leave ~ former flame and clergyman, Patrick Mahoney, brother to Tess, barfly and longtime friend with benefits Kip Cardigan, or childhood crush Simon. Yes, that Simon!

The above mentioned are just a few of the tasty menu items, served with generous helpings, that never fail to satisfy your appetite for innuendo, intrigue and sexual misadventures.

Yet again, the author comically and brilliantly intertwines the insane lives and absurd events that envelop this quirky, and intensely horny, cast of characters. To our dismay, but to his credit, Harshbarger leaves the reader hungry for more with a list of unanswered questions that rivals most veteran soap operas. Deeper Dish is truly a work to be savored.
