BOOK BLURB:
Cody is a cop with a mission. He's the point of contact for another cop, one working deep undercover in an organized crime group. Thing is, Pete is not at all what he expects in a partner. Pete's a little reckless, a lot hot, and probably not as careful as he ought to be when it comes to rendezvous with his contact.

Pete thinks Cody is pretty darned hot. Cody's a little reserved, a little afraid to let his macho side out, but Pete is more than happy to help Cody assert himself, even if it costs him his concentration on the job sometimes. When Pete runs into some serious danger, though, he has to hope Cody will come through for him. Will Pete and Cody live to tell the tale of their undercover adventures?

BOOK REVIEW:
Cody is sitting in a bar, nursing a weak drink, waiting to be “picked up” by a man named Pete. Both men are cops working vice, and their current case involves both drugs and prostitution. Pete is working undercover to infiltrate a large prostitution ring, a perfect fit as a “pretty guy who could pull off looking like he sold his ass, but was still bright enough to be trusted.” But the boys in the ring don’t seem to trust Pete, so Cody is ready to “put his john training into action” to help prove Pete isn’t a cop.

From the moment he meets Pete, Cody is attracted to the man. Although it was intended that their meeting would involve faking sex, things get serious when Pete reveals that there is both audio and video in the hotel room. An all too real session of oral sex unlocks an attraction between the two men and a fierce need they can’t deny. As Cody acts as Pete’s contact, the men are unable to resist one another and their feelings grow stronger as Pete’s position in the ring gets more and more dangerous.

Good Cop, Bad Cop is an exciting story filled with an intense amount of erotically charged sex. There is an element of danger at every turn, both from Pete’s undercover job and from the emotions involved every time the men get together. There is an instant attraction, one that can be very dangerous for both Pete and Cody as they are more focused on each other than the job. “’I was way too focused on you, not on work, right from the start.’” It is interesting to watch the men become more attached to one another, and to deal with their intensifying feelings. I wish there had been a bit more development of their relationship outside the bedroom, but this is still a very enjoyable story about cops living on the edge!
