BOOK BLURB:
Adam Bates is in trouble. He's virtually penniless, is being threatened by his landlord, and now he's late for work at his new job. Expecting to be chastened by his boss, Adam doesn't expect Cody to provide him with a protector instead. He definitely doesn't expect his minder to be a big, bad wolf with attitude.

Marcus Black has just arrived at Del Fantasma after his latest black ops mission. He's ready for some R and R, but Marcus won't refuse Cody when he asks him to help a little tabby cat. When Adam is threatened by his landlord in front of Marcus, his alpha wolf won't let him stand by and let it happen.

Adam is about to find strength in submission, and his own set of claws. Marcus is about to find the mate he's been searching for in a deceptively small tabby. Now, if only they can hold on long enough to survive.

BOOK REVIEW:
Black Wolf is wonderful story about the power of true love. From the moment they meet, Adam and Marcus know that they are meant to be together, destined to be mates. The intensity of their pairing and emotional bond are both captivating and engaging. Although the story is short, it covers a wide range of emotions from fear and anger to passion and excitement.

The characters of Adam and Marcus are both well written and interesting, and Adam in particular draws the reader in from the first page. Adam is trying so hard to prove to his family, and himself, that he can survive on his own and it is distressing that he is being threatened. It is wonderful to watch as he comes into his own with Marcus’s help and encouragement, discovering strength that even he didn’t know existed.

Shapeshifters are always fun to read about and this pairing in particular is unique and entertaining. Though there are serious moments, there is also quite a bit of humor with the innuendos and verbal sparring that takes place. Black Wolf is a must read and an excellent addition to the Del Fantasma series!
