But Kelsey isn’t the only one who is excited by Victor Moore.
BOOK REVIEW:
This heartwarming short story is like a modern day fairytale. Des Silvers has devoted the past ten years to raising his niece after his brother and sister-in-law died in an accident. Now sixteen, Kelsey is a wonderful young girl and Des has no regrets about the course his life has taken even though he has been alone all this time.
While shopping for a Christmas tree Kelsey spots her favorite TV actor, Victor Moore, and Des as the loving uncle tries to meet the actor to get an autograph. After a missed opportunity they bump into each other again and from that first short meeting an instant attraction develops.
I really enjoyed this short but entertaining story. It's a sweet and sexy look at the first rush of attraction and is written in the author's usual wonderful style. I liked all three of the main characters, Des, Victor and Kelsey. They were well developed given the length of the story and were quite likable. The story itself takes place within just a few days and although the relationship between Des and Victor is a bit rushed it works well within the scope of the romantic fairytale feeling of the book.
D.J. Manly is an author whose stories I usually enjoy very much and this one was no exception. It's a wonderful little Holiday story just perfect for anyone looking for a sweet romantic read.
