BOOK BLURB:
Criss Cross finds the ghosts surrounding Victor getting awfully pushy. The medications that Victor usually takes to control his abilities are threatening to destroy his liver, and his new meds aren't any more effective than sugar pills.

Vic is also adjusting to a new PsyCop partner, a mild-mannered guy named Roger with all the personality of white bread. At least he's willing to spring for the Starbucks.

Jacob’s ex-boyfriend, Crash, is an empathic healer who might be able to help Victor pull his powers into balance, but he seems more interested in getting into Victor’s pants than in providing any actual assistance.

BOOK REVIEW:
Author Jordan Castillo Price has created another wonderful story within the Psy Cop series. Using the same group of main characters introduced in the previous novel, Price creates a suspenseful mystery that keeps you riveted. This time the dangers hit closer to home for anti-hero Victor Bayne when his psychic abilities start going haywire and he not only sees dead people in greater quantities than ever before but the dead want to possess him.

The plot moves forward at a strong pace and, as with any good mystery, seemingly innocuous events supply important clues. The characters are all well written. Each character, whether main or supporting, is engaging and full of human frailties and conflicting desires. Each has their agendas and thus creates a lot of tension and romance. Yes, within this mystery is a budding romance that feels equally as important as the paranormal events that are happening. Romance, mystery, and the paranormal ~ what’s not to enjoy?
