BOOK REVIEW:
Opposing Forces is a unique approach to a superhero tale. Instead of focusing solely on their superhuman abilities, it instead explores their grasp on humanity. There is an interesting contrast between Silverhawk who, with the help of Douglas, has been able to persevere while Steele is intent on revenge for what he thinks is lost forever.

I struggled slightly at the beginning to separate the different characters but as I continued everything fell into place. The wonderful flashback scenes reveal the intensity of the love between Paz and Nikki and reinforce the utter devastation that resulted when their lives were forever changed. The character of Douglas is a particular favorite, and I loved the part he played in this enjoyable story.
