BOOK BLURB:
Police beat Seattle newspaperman Dan considers a travel-feature venture to Peru safe and dull. When a mystery man picks him out to follow, Dan's world is immediately turned upside down, and he's tossed into danger, both man-made and nature-predatory, plus the danger the man poses to Dan's heart.

BOOK REVIEW:
Beyond Machu is destined to be a classic of its kind. I am reminded of the Humphrey Bogart adventure movies of the 1940’s, and of H. Rider Haggard’s 19th century classic novels, She, and King Solomon’s Mines. Beyond Machu has it all: scorching gay sexuality, hot romance, passion, adventure, lost causes, historical backdrop, jungle adventure, threatening criminals, mysterious elderly tourists, artifact black-marketeering. I can’t imagine any reader who could pass this book up with immediately becoming enthralled. From plot convolutions flying thick and fast, to strong characterizations, volcanic lust and intimacy, expanding backdrop, and suspense piled on, Beyond Machu is a don’t miss and a definite recommended read and keeper.

Narrator Dan Green is a Seattle newspaperman with dreams of an investigative journalist. Son of a photojournalist who died in Desert Storm, Dan’s mother thinks he’s safer visiting Peru as a travel-feature writer than remaining in Seattle covering the police beat. If only she knew! From the first contact with hot and hunky Sloane Hendricks, the quintessential “mystery man,” Dan is head-over-heels in danger, lust, adventure, love, and risk-taking. Beyond Machu is a mile-a-minute romp which grabs the reader immediately and never lets go. There is not a dull moment in this novel. From scorching sexuality to high-risk danger, from wildlife terrors to black-marketeering, Beyond Machu is a thrilling rollercoaster ride. Run, do not stroll, to your nearest bookseller outlet and grab Beyond Machu, then schedule some free time to read; you will NOT want to put this down unfinished.
