BOOK REVIEW:
Founder (which means one who stumbles, trips up; also refers to a hoof disease in horses) is Jodi Payne's solo debut novel.

Aubrey is no cardboard cut out two-dimensional character. He is very real. Ms. Payne skilfully shows us this in painful detail. Despite, maybe because of, this I couldn't help but fall in love with him. We know less about Kelly, but what we see is very appealing. His determination to stick by, to support Aubrey is beautiful.

I cannot recommend this book more highly. It is a must read.
