BOOK REVIEW:
One of Sean Michael’s well known series is called Velvet Glove. The series is set in a well known BDSM club, one that is visited by many in the galaxy. Some come just for the day while others come to stay. One of those men is Gideon. Gideon has made more than enough money to stay at the Velvet Glove and he is planning on seeing that he gets what he wants, especially after meeting Tybalt. Tybalt is surprised that someone like Gideon would be interested in him but is going to take every minute with the sexy Dom that he can get. Soon these two find more excitement then they expected.
Like all of Sean Michael’s stories this one moves at a fast pace. Loaded with dialog Mr. Michael’s brings the reader a story that not only is the tale of found love between these two but is also adds a new dimension to the Velvet Glove. The characters are strongly written and while Gideon is the strong secure Dom, Tybalt is a virgin sub whose insecurities are easily understood once his past is revealed. Although I loved both characters it was Tybalt who really wormed his way into my heart with all he had been through. Enriched with the appearance of many former characters this book is sure to keep the reader’s attention from beginning to end and find its way to every ones keeper shelve. Although set in the BDSM world I found this one to be on the tamer side but in no way did that detract from the story.
While part of a series and not one that necessarily needs to be read in order, it would give the reader a better understanding of the club and its history if they did indeed read some of the earlier books.
