BOOK BLURB:
Justin falls for Kevin the instant they pass each other on a sidewalk. Only, Kevin’s not gay. The higher ups at Kevin’s company are gay, however, and Kevin’s accidental meeting with Justin gives him an idea how to get around his controlling female supervisor. If he can gain access to the top men at an exclusive gay club, he might be able to finally share his ideas.
Justin instantly agrees to be his date, despite the obvious heartbreak that’s headed his way for going out with a straight man. At the club, Kevin gets a chance to meet the company owner, Victor Chen, and the man seems interested ... both in his ideas and his date.
Kevin can’t deny his attraction to Justin, but he’s not gay. Right? He should step aside and let Justin have a chance to date Victor, who’s gorgeous, rich, and shares Justin’s interest in fashion. Despite his internal struggles, he really wants to explore their growing bond. Justin is certainly game, but a part of him knows they can’t have a future together ... can they?
BOOK REVIEW:
Kevin Fuller is out for an afternoon walk when he's surprised with a declaration of love from a stranger. More surprising than the fact that it's a stranger is that it's a man, obviously gay, who's coming on to him. Making his way to work, Kevin puts the encounter out of his mind until later in the day when he realizes he may have found a way to fix a work related problem. He needs to get close to his bosses without his immediate supervisor getting in the way and to do so he's going to have to see them outside of work. Armed with an invitation to the hottest gay club in town, Kevin decides to ask Justin, his admirer, to go as his 'date' so he'll have the chance to speak to his bosses.
From the very funny first encounter between Kevin and Justin to the end of the story, Jet Mykles had me totally hooked. This fabulously entertaining story, with its gay-for-you theme, has a couple of really likable and well developed main characters as well as secondary characters who are good additions to the storyline.
Justin is flamboyant and flirtatious but never to the point of being too over the top. He's a really nice guy who finds it very easy to be open with people. Kevin, on the other hand, is more reserved. He's sure he's straight yet, as he gets to know Justin, he finds himself attracted to and wanting to be with Justin. There is a bit of angst as both men work through their feelings but ultimately this is a fun easy read. Something that I found particularly nice is the fact that it's Kevin, not Justin, who is the aggressor in their relationship. Once he figures out he wants Justin he goes after him and the sex scenes between them are very hot and steamy.
Overall this is a fun and engaging story and I really enjoyed it. It's fast paced, has great characters and is very well written. I highly recommend this delightful story.
