BOOK BLURB:
Katzman Warrior Trajan Varl was sent to Elquone by his friend, Chellak Rai, to find a doctor for his mate. When Elquone's High Ruler won't let the doctor, Saris, leave without a contract, Trajan has to refuse. His laws don't allow slavery.

The High Ruler then reclassifies Saris and he is taken away to be retrained as a pleasure slave. Trajan now has no doctor to take back to Katzman. More than that, Trajan suspects that Saris is his mate.

Determined to find out and bring a doctor back as ordered, Trajan breaks into the training facility and rescues Saris, spiriting him off the planet in his ship. When they are attacked, they take an escape pod to a nearby planet.

The emotions the mating cycle evokes in both of them threatens to tear them apart before they can even get together, and they are still being hunted. Can Trajan convince Saris to be his mate and save his life, or will he lose his mate before he can even claim him?

BOOK REVIEW:
If you loved Katzman's Mate you will love Dream Mate. Picking up five months after the end of the first book, Trajan, one of Chellak's pride members, is assigned the task of bringing home an Elquone doctor for Demyan. What should have been an easy assignment becomes anything but. The result is a fast paced adventure through space with two sexy men destined to become mates.

As the author introduces the characters, Trajan and Saris, the reader soon realizes that other than their race, there are no similarities between them and Chellak and Demyan. Trajan, a fierce warrior who will do anything to protect his mate, is more of a gentle giant, whereas Saris is by no means the submissive type and is sure to give Trajan a run for his money. This gives the sequel a fresh feel allowing the reader to discover the Katzman and their mating beliefs all over again. Regardless of misunderstanding or enemy arrival, the intensity of feelings these two share is easy to see. Once the men make it back to Trajan's home world, the delivery scene is sure to hold every one's interest. The appearance of past characters as well as the introduction of new ones further enhances this story.

While the first book told us of the Katzman and their world, this one gives the reader a peek into the Elquone society. It is easy to see one of the reasons why Demyan was so submissive in book one. The treatment of the caste members is an eye opener for the reader as well as the Katzman.

This is an excellent follow up and while I know the author has several great series in the works already I hope we will be able to visit more of this world.
