BOOK BLURB:
Love is a fool's game Jake Remora has no intention of ever playing again. He works hard, plays even harder, and leaves a string of easy lovers in his wake. Having his first lover move home and resurrect long-dormant emotions is the last thing he ever expected ... or wanted.

Just as things reignite between the lovers, a new scandal of sexual impropriety arises. Past and present collide in a clash of rumor and speculation, jeopardizing any hope of a shared future the two men might hope to build.

BOOK REVIEW:
Jake Remora is the love-em and leave-em kind of guy. He wants nothing more than one night stands after what happened with him all those years ago. Jake had been in love with his best friend, but when they were caught together his friend bailed, told everyone that Jake all but raped him, and left him deal with the fallout.

Jake meets a young man, Jimmy, at a store and they have a one-time fling, ending as quickly as it began. Jake doesn’t understand how his brother Logan can be happy in a monogamous relationship with his boyfriend Aaron. Logan is the only one who truly understood the hell that Jake went through and why he never settled down.

Jake gets the surprise of his life, and not a good surprise, when he goes to get a pizza and he meets the one man he loved, Kane, who left him all those years ago. When Jake is again accused of raping someone, will Jake stand of his own or will Kane stand up for him? Is there a chance for Jake and Kane to rekindle their old feelings?

Ms. Young has created a fast paced story showing how difficult it is for some people to admit their sexuality and the damage it can cause with not telling the truth. Jake’s life was a mess after Kane’s family left, but neither thought about the toll it took on both of them. Jake dwelt with it by shutting his feelings away until he was confronted with them when he saw Kane again. Kane had his own issues, but he never realized what happened after he left. Add to this Kane’s son Brock who is determined to play matchmaker and you have a great story that puts the characters through their paces as they learn that life is truly just what you make of it. Thanks go to Ms. Young for a great story.
