BOOK REVIEW:
Daniel can't believe the most beautiful man in the world, Brandon, is sleeping in his bed. The only difficulty in the situation is Brandon may be beautiful, but he carries a lot of baggage from his past. They first meet at a bar where Brandon is working as a waiter.

Brandon seems to have a smile and a flirtatious conversation for everyone in the place except for him. Daniel keeps himself fit after he left the Marines and he gets many advances from other men. Little does Daniel know, Brandon his had his eyes on him for many days, but didn't know how to approach Daniel. Daniel finally decides to approach Brandon, but the bouncers get the wrong idea and toss Daniel out. Daniel takes exception and when the fight is about to start, Brandon intervenes. Things begin to spiral out of control when Daniel returns, finding Brandon badly beaten. Daniel never expected that taking in a stranger might just be the pivotal point in both of their lives.

Mr. Deveraux has created a hard hitting story about two men who have had many obstacles to overcome in their lives, but find that together they might just find what they were looking for. Brandon may appear perfect on the surface, but his life has been far from easy, leaving scars that are difficult to heal. Daniel is a man of honor who saw horrors in the war that left him damaged in many ways. Each man has strengths and weaknesses that make it hard to move on with their lives or form lasting relationships. The struggles that they fight to overcome bring a real-to-life feeling to the story. Together they may overcome their handicaps if they learn to trust in their love for each other. Thanks go to Mr. Deveraux for an interesting read.
