BOOK BLURB:
When a shy, virgin erotica writer with a tool belt fetish crosses paths with an outgoing carpenter, the fireworks soar. Introverted Larry has an active imagination, and Marty is just the man to draw him out of his shell. When circumstances send the boys on a road trip together, they start to get to know each other, and they like what they see.
The problem is that Larry worries about the motivation behind his feelings, while Marty’s tired of the single life. He’s ready to settle down and has been looking for Mr. Right. Will opposites attract and make their dreams come true, or will Larry’s insecurities keep him from seizing love?
BOOK REVIEW:
It's no secret that I love Addison Albright's writing style. With Another Dream, she has once again succeeded in completely mesmerizing me from start to end ~ I just couldn't put the book down.
Another Dream is set in the same world as A Dream Come True, with some crossover characters, but it stands beautifully on its own. It's always fun to see how characters from earlier books are doing, but they play a very minor role here.
Marty is a confident guy, a carpenter by trade, openly gay, but long estranged from his family. Larry, a shy charmer, moves in across the hall from him, and he's immediately attracted. Larry's an author and lives mostly in his imagination, so he's totally surprised when Marty wants to take him dancing.
I love the way these two very different men carefully feel their way into a relationship that literally blossoms as they discover how much they have in common. Written with a sense of humor and with great sensitivity (and with not a little playacting from the characters in Larry's bestselling books!), Another Dream has a special redemptive quality that makes you smile long after you are finished reading.
I especially liked the part played by the tool belt, and no, I won't spoil it by saying anything more.
Once again, Addison Albright has created a wonderfully sensual story that I do not hesitate to recommend highly.
