BOOK BLURB:
Vincent is a vampire of world renown, even if most people believe his story is a fable, but with age comes boredom. Seeking out new silk to line his coffin for his annual Cotillion. he comes across a bolt of pink fabric. Curiosity leads him to a mistake that is about to change his existence. Martin is a newly turned vampire and a lonely gay man. When he finds an extremely good looking and famous vampire in his humble abode, he's glad of the company even though he's afraid. When a simple mistake leads to explosive passion, what's a vampire to do but look forward to a future of gay nights between sheets of pink satin?

BOOK REVIEW:
"Nights in Pink Satin" is an extremely sensual book. The title image, a bolt of fuschia-pink satin intended to line a coffin, draws the reader in with its bold color and luxurious feel.

In the same way, the pink satin fascinates Vincent, a powerful (perhaps the most powerful ~ and famous ~ in the history of the undead) and attractive vampire who hasn't aged in centuries. He needs to know who would buy such an item, discovers the purchaser is another vampire, and tracks "her" to "her" home. Vincent assumes the owner of the pink satin-lined coffin will be a woman, and is turned on by the thought of sharing blood and sex with her. "She" turns out to be newly-turned vampire Martin, a rather lonely young gay man who wears pink glitter in his hair. When the sunlight traps Vincent inside Martin's home and they're forced to share the close quarters of a cupboard (a closet, in American English), Vincent cannot deny his attraction to Martin is stronger than the urge for blood.

Sensual details ~ sights, tastes, smells, and sounds ~ make the storytelling vivid and immediate. "Nights in Pink Satin" plays on the tension between the supposedly-straight Vincent and the lovely young Martin while immersing the reader in what the characters feel. There is fear, but most of all there is pleasure ... Vincent always seems to get what he wants.
