BOOK BLURB:
Dino Martini is an old-school P.I. in a modern age. Sure, he may do most of his work on a computer, but he carries a gun, drives a convertible, and lives on the beach. Best friend and mechanic Seth Donnelly will back him in a fight, and there's not a lot more Dino could ask from life.
Until his world is turned upside down.
A dangerous case and a new apartment are just the start. His friendship with Seth has turned into a romance, only Dino has never had a boyfriend before. Can he handle this sudden twist? Just as he begins to believe it's possible, he loses Seth in more ways than one...
BOOK REVIEW:
Dino and Seth have been friends for the last several years. Although they are total opposites, they have always been there for each other, no matter what. When their relationship starts to change from friends to much more, Dino becomes more than a little worried. While neither man wants to ruin a perfect friendship they both realize that there is no turning back either. When one of Dino's cases hits close to home he realizes that the only thing for him to do is to keep Seth in his life anyway he can.
First, let me say that I hope this will not be the last we see of Dino and Seth. Elle Parker takes a situation such as friends who become more, and makes the story believable. This is no 'jumping into bed and everything is okay' story line as the two men struggle with their feelings and how their lives are changing. She also throws a little action adventure into the mix as Dino, who is a PI, tries to solve a mystery and ends up putting Seth right in the middle. To top the whole thing off there is also a delightful bunch of senior citizens that will make the reader think of The Golden Girls. I would recommend this to any one who enjoys the m/m genre.
