BOOK BLURB:
Nick had never been interested in the BDSM lifestyle until Darren hired him to cater a fetish party and and gave Nick a scorching introduction to the scene upon its conclusion. Now the young chef finds himself craving more than a hot one night stand, but to his frustration Darren is dedicated to his swinging ways. After being spurned at a Mardi Gras party, Nick conceives of a plan to finally claim Darren as his exclusive lover and master.

BOOK REVIEW:
This story is the sequel to Augusta Li's Juicy, Melty, Fun to Share, a story where young chef Nick caters a party for Master Darren. Darren gave Nick a scorching introduction to the Master/submissive scene ~ and then never called him again. Nick would like to think he didn't really care, but he does. And apparently, even if he's not calling, Darren's talking about Nick, which is a good thing and a bad thing. It's a good thing because Nick's fledgling catering business is getting jobs, it's a bad thing because Darren isn't calling.

So Nick is catering a Mardi Gras party and who should show up but Darren. Can Nick and Darren re-connect? Nick's not really ready for the scene and Darren's all about the scene. Is there a compromise position?

Just like Juicy, Melty, Fun to Share, this story's a BDSM fantasy. It's hot and fun and sexy, but not really realistic. Even so, Augusta Li writes such a concise, well-crafted story that we are willing to buy into the fantasy, particularly since it's sexy and fun. The descriptions are so clear that we feel we are really there: tasting, touching, smelling, feeling, as Nick and Darren try to find a level meeting ground.

Just like many sequels, Twelfth Night reads nicely by itself, but you will enjoy it more if you read Juicy, Melty, Fun to Share first because you can see the character development from the start. Darren and Nick are nicely done, and the story, while a fantasy, is a fun, hot read, perfect for your summer reading list.
