BOOK BLURB:
Luke's looking for love in all the wrong places. When he meets Cato at an adult video arcade, then again at his softball league game, Luke figures they might have something in common. Can Luke convince Cato that there's more to him than meets the eye?

BOOK REVIEW:
Dropping Quarters is an interesting foray into a venue I would not have considered romantic ~ an adult video arcade. Luke is sitting under the sign that says, "No Masturbating," jerking off to a video of two men fucking. He drops in a quarter, the video runs for a couple of minutes, stops, he drops in another quarter, and so forth, till he's watched enough for the ~ ah ~ purpose. He is vaguely aware of the moans coming from the cubicle next to him, and that's almost as exciting as the video.

Unfortunately, as he leaves, the guy next door opens his door right into Luke's face, almost knocking him out and leaving a really nasty bruise. The guy is young and cute, so Luke makes a tentative overture, but the man, after making sure Luke is okay, brushes him off. I mean, who wants to hook up with someone you met in a sleazy place like that?

Imagine Luke's surprise when he runs into the guy ~ Cato ~ at his next softball game. Luke is pretty recognizable since his face is black and blue. He still thinks Cato is pretty cute. Can they hook up? Do they have more in common than dropping quarters and softball?

This beautifully written short story is a sweet and funny quick read. Addison Albright has a clever way with words, a subtle sense of humor and a flair for description that makes her stories a joy to read. You'll like this one!
