Adder has wanted to be a rock star ever since he left home at fifteen to find his fame. Everything he does and says is geared towards that goal. Adder is known to be unpredictable during their concerts and that just adds to his group's fan base, which is fine with him. Adder is known to sleep around with anyone, male or female, and he doesn’t believe that there is anything more to sex than just that.

Adder can’t stand his present drum player, Bull, and has no problem laying him out cold during their concert. But, it leaves them once again without a drummer. Adder’s band mates, Vi and Harper, understand Adder’s antics for what they are, a means to get ahead, but when Harper gives them a name of an old friend, Kalil, that plays the drums, everyone decides to give him a chance.

When Kalil arrives at their unremarkable practice area, he isn’t sure about what he has gotten himself into until he sees Harper and meets Adder. The attraction between Kalil and Adder is immediate and intense. The first time Kalil sees Adder he can’t believe what a sexy man he is until Adder begins to make many very unsubtle passes at him. Kalil learned the hard way that dating a band mate can lead to disaster. Kalil gets the job after an incredible jam session with the group. The biggest question of the day: is Kalil’s will strong enough to overcame both his and Adder’s desires? Does he even want to stand firm? What does Adder really think about his budding feelings for Kalil?

Ms. Blue has written a phenomenal story with larger than life characters who ensnare the reader form the start. Adder is a complex mixture of characteristics from gregarious to secretive. Most people think they know him, but he keeps his true feelings deep inside. Kalil is the one special person who manages to get beneath Adder’s outer shell to begin to really get to know him. How will Adder respond to Kalil? Will he allow him inside? Will Adder and Kalil get their chance at happiness? This book is full of laughter, crazy antics, family, angst, and enough love to engage any reader. Thanks go to Ms. Blue for a wonderful story.
