Mason has been in love with his brother’s best friend Jack for ten years. Watching Jack with one girlfriend after another has becomes too much for Mason to handle and he feels the need to make a clean break and start over somewhere else. Mason knows the change and distance will be hard but he does not realize how much it will change his life. When Jack finds out Mason loves him and has for some time, he sets out to get his man, but past promises and self-doubt make that easier said than done. As the two men struggle to get together, they are confronted with the added problem of Mason’s stalker.
Stormy Glenn is one of those authors who are able to put out one good book after another. Her characters, whether they are the alpha male type or not, are able to show their softer side as well as their strong side. The love they have for each other is clear for the reader to see, making the stories just that much more compelling. A Promise Kept is no exception. The love that Jack and Mason have for each other is so strong it is amazing that they were able to hide it so well. The story is also loaded with several strong secondary characters just screaming out for their own stories. A must read for any m/m lover.
