BOOK BLURB:
Perhaps it's a twist of fate when event photographer Cameron Walker runs into veterinarian Jeremy Montgomery at a wedding. Cameron has harbored a crush on the handsome man since high school, and he can't believe his luck. Jeremy asks him to dance, and Cameron's over the moon.
Having admired Cameron from afar, Jeremy is just as thrilled to discover Cameron feels the same. After a few dates, Cameron and Jeremy (and their new dog) are ready to embark on a loving journey they both have dreamed of ~ a new life together.
Cameron's best friend, Detective Patrick Hawkins, is very happy for the new couple. But he's equally worried when mysterious gifts with disturbing letters keep appearing, targeting Cameron. When the stalking escalates to a senseless and stunning act of violence, Patrick is there for the two men, both physically and emotionally. Working together, Cameron, Jeremy, and Patrick set out to find the stalker and put a stop to his actions, but will they be able to stop him before it's too late?
BOOK REVIEW:
Cameron Walker has had a crush on Jeremy Montgomery since they were in high school. And vice versa. When Cam's niece Emily comes to visit for the summer, his mom finds her a job at Jeremy's vet clinic. Thrown together, sparks fly between the two men. But all is not well: Cam has a stalker, and it's getting really dangerous, since the stalker does not want to see Cameron with Jeremy. Fortunately, Cam's best friend Patrick is a police officer. But will the three men be able to catch the stalker before someone is killed?
Note: This is Book Two of Brown and Kane's Lost Boys and Love Letters Series, but is totally a stand-alone novel. I hate jumping into the middle of a series, and that's not the case here.
This fast-paced book was a fun, light read, and I highly recommend it. I enjoyed getting to know Cameron and Jeremy, and their developing relationship was memorable, sexy and believable. The unusually complex plot included lots of secondary characters and sidelines, but the authors managed to keep it all under control. I certainly hope some of those secondary characters eventually get their own books! If you like books with hot guys, smart animals, well-meaning (and not so well-meaning) relatives, but best of all, a sense of humor, you'll love Picture Perfect.
